Discover the significant Art and Applied Art Collections of Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde that comprise some 7600 objects, most of which are accessible through our online database.

The Art Collection contains around 3400 works from plein air painting from the late of 1800s to early Modernism. The Collection mainly consists of works from ca 1880 to 1947 by Swedish, other Nordic, and French artists. Here you will find paintings, drawings, graphic art, sculptures and medals. The collection of Prince Eugen’s own works numbers some 3200 objects and comprise painting, drawings and graphic art from the 1880s to 1947.

The Applied Art and Design Collection consists of around 1000 objects, e.g. furniture, ceramics, light fittings, textiles, glassware, timepieces and silver objects. The objects range from the 17th century to the mid-1900s and originate from Sweden, the rest of Europe and Asia. The Collection also contains some 70 objects designed by Prince Eugen in the categories ceramics, furniture, silverware and jewellery.
